Alternative and scrappy, this music magazine is proudly non-conformist and non-consumerist, needed a design that ticked those boxes, in a non-cliche way. For the title, the word ‘frisson’ was chosen as it refers to the sudden goosebumps you feel when you hear something wonderful - an authentic, raw feeling that conveys the message that NME are trying to portray.
